Banded wrapped wedge shaped belts

Banded wrapped GUFERO® wedge shaped belts are made by combining individual wedge shaped belts to create a single wide band. The transmitted power and section of the wedge shaped belts in the case of banded wedge shaped belts is the same as for individual wedge shaped belts. Banded wedge shaped belts are used for the elimination of vibrations of individual wedge shaped belts in machines with shock and alternating load or in wedge shaped belt transmission systems with large distance between axes. Banded wedge shaped belts are therefore widely used in farm machines, machine tools, crushing machines, fans and in other cases where uneven loads are transmitted. The most frequent applications of banded wedge shaped belts are found in combine harvesters and mowing machines.
