AMERIC hose clamps are very similar to EURO hose clamps. Unlike EURO hose clamps they have bores for the worm screw along the entire strip. The moulded strip of this hose clamp is lined with smooth edges which prevent any damage being caused to the hose due to sharp edges of the hose clamp. The screw lock found on these hose clamps is similar to that on EURO hose clamps. These hose clamps are available with strip widths 8, 9 and 12 mm. The selection of the correct width of the strip may have a decisive impact on the strength of the connection created with the hose clamp. AMERIC hose clamps are delivered in two versions. The W1 version is made of zinc plated steel and the W4 version of stainless chromium-nickel steel. A hexagonal key is used to tighten or loosen the hose clamp. Alternatively, a flat tip screw driver can be used to tighten the hose clamp.
