GUFERO® variable speed wedge shaped belts are wide wedge shaped belts which fulfil the most demanding requirements with regards to dynamic stress and lateral rigidity. They excel due to their high quality and long service life. Variable speed wedge shaped belts are usually used in drives with stepless speed variation, in drives with variable speed wedge shaped belt pulleys and with Variomatic transmission gears and automatic transmission gears. The advantages of variable speed wedge shaped belts are their long service life, smooth and silent running and their transmission of high power. Variable speed wedge shaped belts are resistant to oils and other chemical substances. The temperature resistance of variable speed wedge shaped belts is from -30 °C to +80 °C.
